Blocks of rooms are reserved at both the Wellesley College Club on the Welleley College campus and at the Courtyard by Marriott at 342 Speen St. in Natick, MA for all of the seminar weekends. The first seminar begins on Thursday, October 16th, 2008*. There are no rooms available at the College Club for this first weekend. If you need a room for this first weekend, you should call the Courtyard by Marriott (508-655-6100) and tell them that you are part of the HERS-Wellesley College group. They will then hold a room for you at our price. You will need to give them your credit card information at that time.
Rooms at the Marriott will be $109 per night for October and November, and then $112 for
January, March, and April. The College Club will charge $135 per night for all sessions.
A shared double room would be about half the cost in each case. Let us know if you would
be interested in sharing a room. Women who work and live nearby may commute to the
sessions from their homes.
The Marriott is a full-service hotel with fitness rooms, pool, restaurants and high speed internet service. You can make your room reservations there by phone (508-655-6100) or by email (lburkhardt@csmcorp.net). The Wellesley College Club is on campus and the site of many of our seminar sessions, but there are only 15 rooms. There will be a sign-up procedure for participants who choose to stay at the College Club.
For those of you who will be arriving from a distance without a car, we have arranged van transportation from the Marriott to Wellesley College and back each day. This van can also pick you up at the Logan Express Bus terminal in Framingham, just a few miles from the hotel. Additional travel information will follow. In early October we will ask you to post
your arrival times so that you may arrange shared transportation from the airport.
*All seminar weekends will end at 4:15 on Saturdays.
